Noreya: The Gold Project, published by PixelHeart and developed by Dreamirl Game Studio, is now available! Discover a brand-new, frenetic metroidvania combining action, adventure and dark fantasy in 2D pixel-art.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, attracting over 3,234 contributors and raising more than €150,000, and 7 months of Early Access on Steam, the definitive version of Noreya: The Gold Project has been available on Steam since June 21, 2024. The release on next-gen consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) is scheduled for early 2025.

A universe rich in choice

Noreya: The Gold Project plunges you into a dark fantasy world where Light and Corruption clash. You play as Kali, a fighter seeking to avenge the corruption that has devastated her life, caused by Salluste, the God of Avarice. He has taken control of the city of Lemia, corrupting its inhabitants by turning them into terrifying golden shadows. Your mission: explore the City of Gold, confront fearsome creatures and choose to alleviate your fate by pledging allegiance to the gods… or rejecting their influence.

A unique gaming experience

With its meticulously crafted pixel-art, Noreya offers a totally personalized gaming experience where every decision counts. Your allegiance to one of two gods, the Goddess of Light or Salluste, will impact not only the skills at your disposal, but also the way the world around you evolves. The game features over 50 skills to unlock via an evolving skill tree, allowing you to choose the style of combat and exploration that suits you best.

Each game will be unique, thanks to a persistent world that transforms according to your choices. You can rediscover areas in a new light by switching allegiances, with paths and secrets exclusive to each version of the world.

Dynamic, demanding gameplay

Noreya stands out for its pixel-perfect combat, fast-paced, subtle gameplay that’s easy to pick up, but hard to master. The game will challenge you with 12 memorable bosses you can face in the order of your choice, and over 25 unique enemies with innovative gameplay mechanics. With its 3 difficulty levels, Noreya is suitable for all types of players, whether they’re looking for an accessible adventure or a real challenge.

An epic, immersive soundtrack

Immersion is enhanced by an original soundtrack composed by the talented duo Sarys and Xavier Dang (aka MisterMV). The music adapts to your choices, evolving as you change allegiance, further enriching the game’s atmosphere.
