PixelHeart Wishes you Happy Holidays

As the year comes to an end, the entire PixelHeart team would like to take a moment to address our community, our partners, and our customers. The holiday season is the perfect opportunity to pause, look back on the road we have traveled, and most importantly, say thank you. Thank you for your support, your trust, and your enthusiasm throughout a year filled with projects, encounters, and challenges.

The entire PixelHeart team will be on holiday until January 5, 2026.

Orders can still be placed during this period, but shipments will resume starting January 5, 2026.

A creative and eventful year for PixelHeart

The year 2025 has been particularly intense for PixelHeart. Staying true to our editorial line and our vision, we continued to highlight projects driven by passion, creativity, and respect for both the works and the players. Every release, announcement, and collaboration was carefully thought out with the same goal in mind: to deliver sincere, polished experiences deeply rooted in gaming culture.

Throughout the year, we worked on several major projects, ranging from physical editions to strong community-focused initiatives. These projects reflect the daily work of our teams, as well as the trust placed in us by the developers we collaborate with.

Major releases and meaningful collaborations

Several releases stood out in 2025 and helped define the year for PixelHeart. We were proud to publish and collaborate on titles such as Kingdom of Asteborg, Beyond the Ice Palace II, and Chronicles of the Wolf, released in partnership with PQube. Each of these projects represents a different creative vision, yet they all share common values of craftsmanship, respect for legacy, and attention to detail.

Kingdom of Asteborg continued to expand its universe and reach new players, reinforcing its place as a modern tribute to classic action-platform games. Beyond the Ice Palace II marked the return of a cult license, reimagined with care to honor the original while offering a refined experience for today’s audience. Chronicles of the Wolf, developed by Migami and published by PixelHeart, stood out for its gothic atmosphere and narrative depth, showcasing how classic inspirations can still feel fresh and relevant.

These collaborations, particularly with partners like PQube, allowed us to broaden our reach while staying aligned with our editorial identity.

A close relationship with the community

Beyond releases, 2025 was also defined by constant exchanges with our community. Through announcements, events, articles, and direct interactions, we made it a priority to remain close to players. This relationship is a core pillar of PixelHeart’s philosophy and continues to guide our decisions.

Listening to feedback, sharing progress, and maintaining transparent communication are essential aspects of how we work. This approach allows projects to grow alongside their audience and strengthens the bond between creators and players.

Bang Bang Busters 2, a shared journey

It would be impossible to look back on 2025 without mentioning Bang Bang Busters 2. The launch of its Kickstarter campaign marked a major milestone for PixelHeart. More than just a project, it became a shared journey with the community, fueled by enthusiasm and trust.

Every message, contribution, and show of support reinforced our motivation to push the project forward. Bang Bang Busters 2 perfectly embodies the spirit of PixelHeart: a game that respects its arcade roots while embracing ambitious goals for the future.

PixelHeart TV and behind-the-scenes content

n 2025, we also continued to share our behind-the-scenes work through PixelHeart TV. These videos offered glimpses into our daily activities, our travels, and the people behind the projects. PixelHeart TV is another way for us to connect with the community and provide insight into how our games are made.

While we are a small team and cannot always produce content as frequently as we would like, our priority remains quality over quantity. We believe meaningful content requires time and care.

Pride, gratitude, and looking ahead

As we reflect on the past year, one word stands out: pride. Pride in the work accomplished, pride in the games released, and pride in the community that continues to support us. Each project launched in 2025 was the result of collective effort, passion, and dedication.

This pride also fuels our ambition for the future. We are already preparing new projects, collaborations, and announcements for 2026. While we are not ready to reveal everything just yet, we can confidently say that the coming year will bring more exciting and creative experiences.
