Bang² Busters 2 marks the rebirth of a universe deeply rooted in players’ memories. Staying true to the spirit of the original game, this new installment was developed natively on Neo Geo, offering an authentic and fluid experience. With fast-paced gameplay, colorful visuals, and a dynamic soundtrack, the game promises to capture the full essence of classic arcade cabinets.
This project is both a return to the roots and a demonstration of PixelHeart’s technical expertise. We are dedicating time, energy, and passion to deliver a result that meets the community’s expectations.
The game’s key art was created by Alexis Tallone, a renowned French illustrator and the original artist behind the cult classic Capitaine Flam. With a style deeply inspired by 1980s and 1990s anime, he has earned a strong reputation among retro pop culture enthusiasts. His unique artistic approach: blending nostalgia with bold visual energy, that makes him the perfect choice to bring the Bang² Busters 2 universe to life. His contribution reflects that this game is both an homage and a labor of love for retro gaming..

After the campaign ends and the Neo Geo and Dreamcast versions are delivered, the game will also be released digitally on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, ensuring that all players can experience this new adventure.

Starting October 31, 2025, a playable demo will be available on the Kickstarter page. It allows backers (and curious players) to explore the game’s universe, experience the gameplay, and appreciate the work done on the retro platforms.
This demo is designed to offer a faithful preview of the final experience. Some changes may occur between the demo and the finished game, so it’s not a definitive version: but rather a taste of what’s to come.
The Kickstarter pre-launch is the perfect opportunity to sign up early and be among the first to know when the campaign goes live. Registered users will receive a notification as soon as it launches.
